Advisory Board Member

Emily Drabinski is Associate Professor at the Queens (N.Y.) College Graduate School of Library and Information Studies. Prior to this, she spent 20 years as an information literacy instructor and program coordinator. She co-edited Critical Library Instruction: Theories and Methods (Library Juice Press, 2010) and received the 2015 Ilene F. Rockman Award for her article titled, “Toward a Kairos of Library Instruction.” Drabinski serves as the 2023-24 President of the American Library Association.
